Kaempferol (KMP) is an important flavonoid in many fruits and vegetables. Preclinical studies on KMP have reported its pharmacological effects, including antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, antidiabetic, myocardial protective, neuroprotective effects.
